Tending plants AND people through herbalism AND gardening

BASED IN CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE

Christina,

HELLO, I'M

community herbalist, gardener, and teacher. I have over ten years of experience working directly with plants and people. I believe you have your own plant allies out there for this moment in your life, whether you connect with those plants in a daily cup of tea, in your medicine chest, or by tending a garden.

Are you interested in working with an herbalist to tend your body, mind, and spirit with plant medicine? Let's work together.

What is herbalism?

+

-

Herbalism (also called herbal medicine, botanical medicine, or phytotherapy) is the art and science of using plants to support health and overall well-being. Herbal medicine has and continues to be the global population's primary form of medicine, with a recorded history dating back more than 5,000 years around the world. Herbal remedies and conventional medicine are not mutually exclusive – in fact, they can be quite complementary when used appropriately.

Find more resources about herbal medicine from the American Herbalists Guild (AHG) here. Christina is a proud supporting member of AHG, a non-profit organization that promotes clinical herbalism as a viable profession rooted in ethics, competency, diversity, and freedom of practice.

Are you a landscaping company?

+

-

We offer two forms of garden and landscape support:
1) garden guidance, i.e. garden consultations, coaching, and education; and
2) simple, custom planting designs tailored to your land and your goals.

We are not a full-service landscape company. We are happy to refer our design clients to other trusted businesses for installation. We do not promote turf lawns or chemical herbicides, but we can guide you in converting a lawn to a healthy wildflower meadow or a "low-mow" groundcover planting instead.

How much do your services cost?

+

-

Fees are listed on the Herbal Medicine and Garden Design pages.

We offer sliding scale fees for herbal consultations by request. We empower you to choose a financial investment that feels possible but meaningful for you. Please inquire about sliding scale fees during your free phone call.

At this time, we do not offer sliding scale for garden design and guidance services. Our garden clients make it possible for us to offer sliding scale and free herbal health care services to those who need it, so we thank you for supporting your community in this way!
